xforcesxsmilesx asked:
I love cars, and especially performance cars. How hard would it be for me to get into some form of racing? What would I need to do?
What other kinds of jobs could I get involving cars?

Ruler asked:
I was watching an episode of cops and one of the squad cars had to hit the runaway car to get it to stop. That happens on almost every episode so I was wondering how many cars does the average city go through each year?
Also, how much does a fully equipped squad car cost? Who pays for it?

There’s a lot of talk about alternative sources of energy for cars, but is it even possible to produce such a great amount of power for aircraft using any other source of energy. Have there been any proposals?

For many years, I’ve seen a plastic circular plate attached to the front wheels of cars. It’s usually attached along side of the hubcap.
It’s not a hubcap. It attaches to the outside of hubcabs and only on the front wheels.

This question is regarding alternative fuel for cars. With gas prices being so high I thought this might be the next generation application to reduce gas prices. Any thoughts on this?

Anonymous asked: I plan on buying a MINI Cooper or Honda Insight, someday (since gas prices are so high now). Both cars can hardly even be considered sports cars (except for the S model of the MINI which I am not talking about).
Does it matter if the car you’re driving isn’t fast? If it’s just a small fuel efficiant car (and not some fast sports car like a Ferrari or Pontiac) with red paint, will you get pulled over?
It seems like whenever someone asks this question people immediately think of a fast sports car like Ferrari. But, you have to think that there are cars such as the MINI Cooper which also come in red. If it’s true that red sports cars get pulled over easily, is it also true that any car painted red does too?

I have a ‘65 Mustang (for over 15 years) that is driven occassionally when necessary. When it comes time for yearly inspection I get a free ride from the emmisions test that most other cars are subjected to. Can a catalytic converter be installed or is there something about it that affects the overall operability of older car engines.
