What are great things to do in Paris and Barcelona, and how can we save money on transportation?
Laura asked:
Me and my friends are going to these two locations for spring break. We have someone who speaks french and someone who speaks a little spanish, so we’re good there.
However, besides the obvious tourist traps, we aren’t entirely sure what we want to do - any ideas on great locations to visit and things to do?
Also, how is public transportation/what’s the best way to save money?
Any other tips?

In Barcelona you should walk down the Ramblas, explore the Barri Gotic and visit the Gaudi buildings. take the tourist bus so you can hop on and off where you like and see things in detail, but you get a great overview of the city this way.
Also, there is the Picasso museum, and some great bars and restaurants.
